Anytime Aries drops music, it’s a special day. After teasing “SNAKE EYES” for what felt like the better part of 2022, Aries finally put the finishing touches and stamp of completion on his first release since his 2021 album, BELIEVE IN ME, WHO BELIEVES IN YOU.

First hooking me (and many others) with the catchy chorus “All of these snakes in the wild / I'm boutta lose my brain, tell me, who gon' save me?,” Aries makes his return with an uptempo, slightly more alternative side of his sound. Maintaining the usual earworm hooks and songwriting structures, “SNAKE EYES” fills the void I’ve had for new Aries music since absolutely abusing his last album, and this one will easily be on repeat all summer. With the saturated guitars, melodious synth work, and an explosive chorus co-produced by Aries, Wyatt Otis, and Pharaoh Vice, Aries glides over the beat with his soulful, dynamic vocal tone.

Having last linked up in November 2022 for the second annual WUNDERWORLD Fest, Aries has been keeping busy post his 2022 touring, delivering high quality YouTube videos, challenging his production chops with different prompts, ultimately ending up with a hard beat every time. Hopefully more music is on the roadmap for the near future, but until then, “SNAKE EYES” should hold me over.
