After Scary Hours 2 EP shook the world, fans are now anticipating a joint album from Drake and Rick Ross. The two have been an undeniably great duo over the years, and have been talking about dropping a project together for over a decade now. They were working on a mixtape called YOLO way back in 2011, but it unfortunately never came out. After some beef between OVO x MMG in 2015 with Drake and Meek Mill, it seems as if they’ve settled it.

Drizzy and Rozay have since put out hits like “Gold Roses,” “Money In The Grave,” and most recently “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” which I personally think is the strongest track out of the 3 pack. Since Scary Hours 2 only had two features which were Lil Baby and Rick Ross, it got people talking about how iconic Ross and Drake are when they are on a record together.

Retired NFL Wide Receiver Chad Ochocinco, a close friend of Ricky Rozay, responded to a Rap Caviar tweet which asked “what’s the best Drake and Rick Ross collab?” and said  “the joint album they’re doing together will unseat all projects they’ve done to date.” Although nothing official has surfaced after the tweet, the phrasing suggests that the rappers are in the middle of putting a joint album together. Certified Lover Boy hasn’t come out yet, so I think it’s unlikely we’ll get this joint album before CLB, but I’m confident we’ll get something in the near future.
