So far, the 2021 summer has been off to a slow start for dance music, but today Bay Area’s Justice Skolnik is turning that around. After over a year and a half hiatus, Skolnik, who’s known for his crisp vibrant production and working with prominent artists such as Jeremy Zucker, Matoma, and Lost Kings, has released his dance hit “Too Much,” the first track off his upcoming 2021 EP.

Flexing a newly invigorated sound and production style, Skolnik returns with a polished and energetic tune that makes you want to get on your feet and move. He tells us, “I felt like I was moving on a loop, doing the same things over and over, until I finally reached a breaking point. I needed a fresh start with music that felt true to me, and with the time off, this new sound came about. I’m excited for this new direction.” With well-crafted layers of keys, vocal samples, and other ear-candy moments, we hear his new direction and we love it.
