Today I am pleased to highlight one of the most exciting young hip-hop/rap artists that I've heard in a while. I really don't like comparing artists, but if you're into the trap-esque, melodic hip hop sound similar to a Juice WRLD, Lil Uzi, or Playboi Carti, then you're going to love 4TUNAT.
His most recent offering, "YESTERDAY," is a tasteful blend of melodic singing and versatile flows – all over a knocking distorted synth beat. There are many artists that drop one great song, but never seem to follow it up with another one. Well, not 4TUNAT. After listening to "YESTERDAY," I went down his discography, only to listen to, "Long Time Ago," right after, which managed to impress me even more. The two tracks are equally as catchy and polished, while being completely different styles of hip-hop. I then went further, and further, and soon my May monthly playlist had four 4TUNAT songs in it.
Although 4TUNAT may vaguely remind you of an artist or two, his sound is uniquely his own. Even with a variation in styles, 4TUNAT keeps the same high quality execution from song to song, showing an extremely promising future for the young artist. Dive into his catalog below.
