Bobby Shmurda Discloses New Music in the Works with Lil Uzi Vert, Quavo, Possibly Jay-Z

Bobby Shmurda, formally known as Ackquille Pollard, has just confirmed that he will be releasing new music soon, highlighting collaborations with artists such as Lil Uzi Vert, Quavo, and potentially Jay-Z. Pollard served six years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of third-degree conspiracy and one count of weapons possession in 2016. He was released February 23rd, 2021 from Clinton Correctional Facility in New York. Following his release, he announced that he wants to be seen as a role model moving forward, and he seems to be intensely focusing on his music now.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting a new album, which will be his first project since his 2014 album, Shmurdaville. Pollard disclosed some details regarding his project in an interview on Maino Presents: Kitchen Talks on Thursday, April 15th. In the interview, he shared that he has been collaborating with today's popular artists – DaBaby, Quavo, Lil Uzi Vert, and maybe even Jay-Z, in order to create his new album. Pollard did not say Jay-Z’s name out right: however, he said “Jay,” which viewers have determined could possibly be Jay-Z.
