This year’s Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, which was slated for September 2nd-5th, 2021, has officially been cancelled, because of flooded areas on the campgrounds. The organizers made an announcement on Tuesday, August 31st, telling everyone about the unfortunate news.

Bonnaroo stated, “we are absolutely heartbroken to announce that we must cancel Bonnaroo.” They added that, “while this weekend’s weather looks outstanding, currently Centeroo is waterlogged in many areas, the ground is incredibly saturated on our tollbooth paths, and the campgrounds are flooded to the point that we are unable to drive in our park vehicles safely.” Bonnaroo also shared that, they “have done everything in (their) power to try to keep the show moving forward, but Mother Nature has dealt a tremendous amount of rain over the past 24 hours, and (they) have run out of options to try to make the event happen safely.”
