Taylor Swift fans who purchased the coveted limited edition Red (Taylor's Version) vinyl were in for an unexpected surprise when they first listened.
Many fans left angry (and funny) comments about hearing "a man" sing every track on the album instead of their favorite country pop star. It turns out, Swift's vinyl was pressed at 45 rpm (for better audio quality), but many turntables are set to either 33 rpm or 78 rpm, which causes a pitch change with the music playing. Fans not realizing this issue could be fixed by changing the speed of their turntable immediately jumped to leave negative 1 star reviews.
