It seems like Forest Hills Stadium is the venue to be at right now. The amphitheater in Queens is hosting some major shows this upcoming summer, including the recently announced “The Greatest Day Ever!” festival on July 23. The lineup is riddled with talent, but I’m most excited about Isaiah Rashad, Emotional Oranges, and KayCyy.

Isaiah Rashad will be fresh off his “Lil Sunny’s Awesome Vacation Tour” come July. Last time he came to New York, he brought out SZA and immediately the show was shut down because of lightning in the area (probably because his performance was too electric). Now he’ll be returning and ready to finish a set, and hopefully playing everyone’s favorite songs from The House Is Burning, as well as some old bangers like “Park” and “Hereditary.”

Emotional Oranges will also have finished their “Sad Fruit Tour” just in time for “The Greatest Day Ever!” The LA based group sneakily released one of my favorite albums last year, The Juicebox. Tracks such as “Back & Forth” featuring Vince Staples and “Give Me Up” featuring Kiana Ledé highlighted a short but star-studded project. Their music just makes you feel good, and will make for a great experience to see live.

Last but certainly not least, KayCyy has been blowing up recently, and last week released his EP TW20 50. Although just three songs, it’s a perfect display of his versatility, each track uniquely different but equally as good. He’s received cosigns from some of the biggest names in music, Ye and Drake, and it’s easy to see why after just one listen. If you haven’t listened to him yet, now is your chance, and you’ll definitely want to see him live at “The Greatest Day Ever!”

Other acts to mention are headliners Polo & Pan, The Marias, Boy Pablo, Tokischa, and Silent Addy.
