With just a week left before the release of his eagerly awaited album The First Time, The Kid LAROI gives us a taste of what is to come with his new single "BLEED." In the track he asks the question “How did your heart mend so easy? / Mine still bleeds.” The track delves deeply into the complexities of heartache and the struggle to move on.

LAROI's lyrics are raw and evocative, capturing the essence of a lingering love that refuses to fade. As he reminisces about an old love, he feels pain. You can distinctly hear the suffering in his voice during the second verse. He sings “Now it's weeks since we spoke, had your mom drop my clothes/ And she tried to console me that love comes and goes/ And there's nothing you owe me”. Despite the intense emotional journey portrayed in the verses, the chorus offers a melodic and almost soothing contrast, showcasing LAROI’s versatile vocal abilities. Adding another layer to the song's impact, the accompanying video directed by Ramez Silyan is jarring, likely complementing the intense emotional depth of the song and amplifying its message

Furthermore, the collaborations and features lined up for The First Time promise an exciting and diverse album. The inclusion of artists such as Central Cee, NBA Youngboy, d4vd, Jung Kook, Future, BabyDrill, and Robert Glasper hints at a multifaceted musical journey that fans can anticipate.
