Adam Pastel — next up out of Washington D.C. — is setting himself up to have an emphatic close to 2022 and a monumental start to 2023. Pastel’s recent single, “TAKE YOU EVERYWHERE,” showcases the 21-year-old’s innate ability to craft heartwarming lyricism with excellent harmonization.

Following his release, “NATALIE,” which fuses pop-punk and traditional pop, Pastel is continuing his consistent 2022 run.

Pastel has been making music in his dorm room, and like many 21-year-olds, he is fighting for love and to be with the one that is meant for him. “I don’t want to live like this. I don’t want to kiss my soulmate goodbye. I don’t want to leave my struggles behind,” is one of many examples of the vulnerable songwriting throughout.

Toplining over a beautiful piano ballad, I feel like I get to dive more into the conflicting and authentic emotions that he brings to life in this track. The maturity in his vocals grows by each release, and I am sure it will only continue to grow from here on out.
