The DONDA brand continues to expand, this time in a different arena, on the west coast.

Kanye West is opening a prep school called Donda Academy in Simi Valley, California, focused on building a basketball team to rival the powerhouse Sierra Canyon Trailblazers. The Academy will be backed by the Ye partnered Adidas, and has already begun it's recruitment process, with personal recruiting coming from West himself.

The team has already locked a handful of top recruits, including Jalen Hooks, a junior out of Indiana, five-star Robert Dillingham out of North Carolina, Jahki Howard out of Georgia, and five-star Zion Cruz out of New Jersey. The team has yet to announce its head coach.

It is also interesting to note that all of the basketball players linked to Donda Academy so far have their Instagram profile pictures as the black DONDA artwork like Kanye.
