Travis had been teasing the release of his new spiked seltzer for quite some time, and he officially launched it on March 15th. CACTI garnered a ton of hype, as you would imagine, with Travis Scott being one of the most prolific marketers in our time. So, the question remains: did it flop, or did it sell?
According to a US Weekly report, CACTI had sold out in thousands of locations in under 24 hours. What’s more? The official site also sold out of its inventory in less than 12 hours, and are already scheduling a restock for next week. Commenting on the success of the drop, Trav said, “This has been something I had a strong vision for and have wanted to do for a while...We built this project from the ground up together and this is just the beginning.” Of course, maintaining these sales is near impossible, but the Houston rapper could not have asked for a more successful first week.
For those of you thinking about buying, CACTI currently comes in a 9-pack with three flavors: pineapple, lime, and strawberry. They also sell in 16 and 25-ounce singles for both the lime and pineapple flavors. There’s no better way to celebrate St. Patty’s Day than cracking open a fresh can of CACTI.
