Christian French has been one of my favorite artists for years now, dating all the way back to one of his earliest singles ‘Love Ride’ that was released in 2017. When I saw the opportunity to give him his flowers on Sheesh, I knew I had to step up to the plate. Last year I was able to catch his performance when he came to Cleveland, and it was around the time that he started to promote unreleased singles like his cover of the ANXIETY's "Meet Me At Our Spot" and "Golden Years." After hearing what he had in the vault I could only imagine what quality was to come, and then came "trigger warning’."

This song was influenced by Tana Mongeau, and it is his exploration into talking to someone with an overwhelming amount of red flags. It’s a playful track that gives a soundtrack to Christian’s thoughts when figuring out if talking to her is worth it, and he left us with yet another inexplicably catchy tune in the process. This release coincided with the announcement of his 28-date North American tour where you can buy tickets to see ‘trigger warning’ and so many other great songs by Christian live and in person.
