Today, goodboy noah returns to the Sheesh pages, this time appearing as “The Bounty Hunter” with the premiere of his latest single “uptight.” The Southern-California up-and-coming sensation has a colorful and upbeat personality (and infectiously inviting vocal tone) that really sets himself apart, which he puts on full display in the single’s music video.

Set in the theme of the all-too-perfectly cliché “wild” west, Bounty Hunter noah finds his gal, "Shootin' Shirley,” mere seconds before she takes off on a chase, enticing noah to "catch her." As Noah races after her on a toy horse, Shootin’ Shirley attempts to throw obstacles in noah's way to slow him down. As the “horseplay” comes to a halt – the two end up in what appears to be a fast draw. Piggybacking off of noah's playful personality, the draw turns into humorous dancing, with the video overall tying beautifully into the song’s message to listeners – to not waste time and energy chasing after someone who plays games. noah sings in the hook,

"Why you so uptight?

I think it’s time to leave you,

It’s too hard to please you."

The single, produced by Micah Gordon, is an ode to the popular sample originally from R&B group, The Whispers', “You Are Number One,” which was also featured in Snoop Dogg’s track, “I’m Fly.” With noah’s rendition of the sample, he delivers yet another melodious vocal performance over bass-bumping trap drums, and floating chords. Not only has noah been building an impressive catalog of R&B playlist-favorites, he has also been making his presence known on multiple social media platforms. In the past week, Noah has almost doubled his TikTok following as a result of his latest drawings, where he often posts singing tutorials on how to draw various cartoon animals. The true creative is racing his way into the hearts of fans for more than just his voice, and we’re eager to see what noah does next. Dive in below.
