“Wonder In Your Eyes” by October Tuesday is a strong candidate for your next indie rock track to keep on repeat. The Columbus based outfit has a sound that belongs in the mainstream, yet this single was their first to eclipse 10,000 streams on Spotify.

I can’t help but imagine myself loading up onto the home screen of FIFA back when I was 16 as soon as I press play on “Wonder In Your Eyes,” and it feels refreshing in a time where music has become immeasurably saturated. Yes there are bigger alt-rock bands like The 1975 or The Strokes that you could be listening to, but why not take a chance on one of the most promising up and comers of the genre that I’ve heard in months?

I’m always on the lookout for up and coming artists that are from Ohio, and when a friend of mine reached out to share this single from one of the bands he plays drums in, I decided to give them a listen. And man, am I so glad I did. The band has also confirmed that they are releasing one song a year all of 2024, so stay tuned for more of the same coming soon.
