When someone sent me Trevor Daniel’s latest single, I played it on repeat for days until I was fully tired of it. Or should I say, “Exhausted.” The Houston, Texas native made a name for himself with his 2018 global smash hit, “Falling,” and has not slowed down since.

The new track, “Exhausted,” comes on the heels of Daniel’s last release,“SYL,” in March. He produced both tracks himself, and not just because he had to and exhausted all of his other options (sorry I had to). He’s worked with some of the biggest producers in the game – Imambek, Alan Walker, and Nick Mira to name a few. “Exhausted” infuses dance energy and synths into his signature pop rap sound. It’s clear self-producing is giving him flexibility to experiment and create what he wants.

Trevor Daniel Neill, or Trevor Daniel was on my radar for a while, but his 2021 single, “Alone,” is what really made me a fan. The track flips a 1998 dance hit, “Better Off Alone,” by Alice DeeJay, and I was instantly addicted. I don’t know if it’s the smooth vocals or catchy hooks, but his music is just so easy to listen to. Peak sad boy music.

With consistent releases and big swings in 2023, he’s clearly up to something, and I’m excited to see what comes next. Check out Trevor Daniel’s new single, “Exhausted” below.
