If you don’t already know Eddie Zuko (and his signature stache), then I am happy to make the introduction. The Chicano artist, and California native has been building a steady cult following in the Imperial Valley for years now — but with the help of TikTok, Zuko is starting to catch the attention he deserves. After some viral traction on his teaser for “Still,” Zuko finally dropped the full version, and it’s simply a love anthem you’ll keep coming back to.

Interpolating Alton Ellis’ “I’m Still in Love With You”, as well as Sean Paul’s “I’m Still In Love With You,” Zuko brings a whole new wave to the reggae track, seamlessly switching from English to Spanish (one of the hardest parts of the song). The soul you can feel with how Zuko sings, and elongates the word “love” leaves a lasting impression, spreading the love Zuko must have felt when he was inspired to create his version.

With a nearly sold out tour on the horizon, I wouldn’t be surprised if this song fuels the fire to a breakout year for Zuko. For fans of hip-hop, reggae, Latin, and R&B, “Still” may be the perfect love song you will want to hear this Valentine’s day. Check it out below:
