I love when artists experiment with different tonality, bend genres, and simply go outside of their comfort zone. This has been the motto for Kevin George his entire career, and yet again, he comes through on the captivating collaboration with Glasstempo on, “What U Like.”

Glasstempo is a Sydney-based instrumentalist, who like George, continues to innovate his sound with each release. This time, the pair comes together with an electronic nostalgic-sounding banger. The tuneful nature of the chorus over top of the plucky synth loop is addicting, and I find myself replaying this track plentiful.

Kevin George always has playful melodies and it is no different on this one. The soundscape is cinematic, yet the simplicity highlights why Glasstempo is as talented as he is. I hope for more collaborations from the duo because “What U Like” is exceptionally vibrant and the execution on this track is fantastic.
