London-based artist, Issey Cross, has been gaining momentum since her project debut in 2021. Only furthering her steady rise in attraction, she delivers one of her more polished RnB, hip-hop influenced singles today, titled "Funfair."

Displaying sullen, breathy vocal melodies on top of compact trap drums, Cross flexes her diverse range of talents, blending rhythmic verses with her ability to sway listeners in with her songwriting and emotive vocal tone – contrasted elegantly like her green and orange dyed hair. In a digital world, talent is being discovered at an all-time high, and it's no surprise that Issey has already progressed in a short three months as she has. Her sound is fluid, holding its own up against the sound of Top 40 chart hits, yet progressive in style, creating her own path to thrive in. Her vocals sound minimally processed, and virtually the same as her live singing on her TikTok, confirming she's the real deal.

Having celebrated turning 21 just a few days ago, the future is looking very bright for the young artist, having already attracted support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, Wonderland, and Spotify's Anti Pop playlist, just to name a few. With the release of her debut EP Mirrors Don't Lie out today, Cross is establishing a sturdy foundation to take off in the pop circuit and beyond.
