Kevin Holliday Continues to Shine with Most Recent Single, “Put It Down”

Brooklyn artist, Kevin Holliday, continues to add to his already impressive list of records with his most recent, “Put it Down.” The track has its funk roots with inspiration from 70s and 80s R&B artists like Prince and Marvin Gaye with its luscious and seductive nature.

He sings in falsetto over dreamy production with spacey synthesizers and a funky bass with a bounce that will have an audience dancing. He explores topics such as lust and infatuation to make for an overall enjoyable experience. "Put it Down” is accompanied by his single, “Expensive Taste,” to make for two tracks that flow seamlessly. Holliday, also self-directed the music video with his most recent single.

Kevin Holliday is a refreshing listen and an artist you can’t categorize because of how unique he is with his ability to incorporate many genres into one. He will be in the game for a long time and is 100 percent worth the listen if you want to make your day better.
