Padma is one of many rising acts coming out of the Syracuse scene right now, and "New City, Same Song" feels like it could be the one to separate her from the pack. 

The single was somewhat of a surprise release, and the bouncy coming of age movie type of production present on this song is one of my favorite feelings to get while listening to music. It also always earns bonus points when a song mentions my home state, and Ohio catches some rare lyrical representation within the first couple of lines.

I’m a huge fan of this song, and it’s clear that Padma is enjoying herself musically. It would be borderline criminal to not give this one a listen for yourself.
